When should I book my newborn/FreshBaby session?
While you are still pregnant. I usually recommend anytime after your first trimester. Because newborns are best photographed in the first 14 days of life, it is especially important to be booked a head of time. Baby's born early will be fit into my schedule as best as possible. Should your baby be born and need to spend time in a NICU, arrangements will be made for a session after baby is home and healthy enough for a session.
What about births?
Again, it's definitely best to schedule while you are pregnant! Because I go "on-call" two weeks prior to your due date, I am very limited on the amount of births I can schedule a month. I would say it is best to schedule your birth anytime after the first trimester.
Well, what if I want maternity photos?
Typically, maternity photos are best shot between 33-37 weeks. Remember, a maternity session is only available as an add on to either a birth or newborn session.
